What to Expect?

During an information session, you will find out more about the Seeing Eye Dogs volunteer caring programs below.

Puppy caring: Care for and nurture a pup for six or 12 months.

Training dog caring: Care for a training dog (12-18 months of age) while they are in the final stages of their formal training program.

Breeder caring (VIC only): Care for an adult dog full time (from around 12 months of age) until the end of their breeding career.

Seeing Eye Dogs will support you with a qualified trainer as you learn to care for our future Seeing Eye Dogs that will one day help people who are blind or have low vision. There is no cost to you, just your time and love.
